ANC Update

NINE.

Carson's ANC is NINE. This is not the jump we were looking for. Dr. now hopeful we can leave this weekend. On the upside, Carson is feeling good; the challenge is keeping him occupied.

Encouraging comments welcome.

  1. Bless your hearts! I can imagine what a tough time you are having keeping Carson entertained especially when there is so much flu around. Hang in there! Glad Nona is there with you to keep Francesca's classes going and to help out in general. By the way, congrats Francesca on your recent swimming accomplishments. Keep up the good work or should I say swimming.

You guys continue to be in our thoughts and prayers and wish I were close enough to bring you a good meal (that's what I do best when things aren't going well). :)

Love to you all ... Delores

  2. Let me know if you'd like some food brought in!
Sure hope that pesky ANC comes up quickly. We all want Carson to get his resistance back asap.
    Blessings and love, Betsy

  3. Goodness! I've been away and haven't been able to check your blog - I'm just speechless after finally getting to catch up. What a blessing to have your mom able to come and teach Francesca - I know that has to be a relief. Carson's ANC level WILL come up - it will - prayers are in force for him (and all of you!) and they will work. ~Kim

  4. Hi Carson , Hi Jennifer! I know you have already tried almost everything to make the days less boring...but... what about sing-along tapes, get him a microphone and sing with him his favorite songs. Another thing that GP enjoy is to be read to ....but not by me but he loves those books that come with a tape of the story so that he can played back as he likes.
Dear Jen, I hope that his ANC level si climing back up as I write to you, I pray God with all my heart. Hang in there! Big Hug and kisses to all. Cristina and the gang!

  5. Wish we could be there to lend support!! Well, we both know with my crew there is would be more chaos than support!
God is sovereign. That's it. We can't make things change on our own. (Thank-goodness: imagine what a mess we'd make!) Remember the song lyric, "God is in the waiting, too"?
He knows your pain and your longing.

Carson is in the palm of his hand.

"Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD" (Psalm 27:14). "My times are in your hands" (Psalm 31:15a).
